  • city radius

Hello All, I had a graphic request. I'm not sure if it is even possible, but it doesn't hurt to ask. What I was thinking of is having the maximum city size (the "big fat X") be presented on the map as a little red line. The point of this would be when deciding where to place cities, I want...

    can this be done?

I saw that post earlier but I still think it can't and shouldn't be done. In the picture you show if all cities had a red block around them Delhi and Bombay would cut into Shanghai, and it would be one big clusterf**k. Also there is no file that looks for graphics that extend out that far per city. The city graphics fit in something like a 150 by 70 (pixels) rectangle.

well, i agree with what you said...i dont think it can be done with a mod, i think it has to be hardcoded somewhere...

however, i recall that it was possible in civ2, pressing Ctrl-G showed you the city radius on the map outlined by a white line...i dont know how they solved the clustering, but it was definitely possible and i would really like to see a comeback in civ3...
