How to increase the number of game turns?

This was easy in Civ II scenarios. One could virtually have 10,000 turns, resulting in extremely long (and for me, joyful) games. Is there any way to do this in Civ III? I think the game progresses way too quickly.

well, civ3savedit for one lets you chance the end date on a game.

You are talking about Gramphos' editing tool? I couldn't find any feature of that sort there.

It is in the General tab of a save game, in a frame called Timeline. However, It don't yet support 1.17f saves fully. I'm working on it.
