new nvidia drivers cause kmode exception

I installed some new nvidia drivers to fix problems in Unreal Tournament. It was actually a downgrade to the lastest reference drivers from the NVidia website. Everytime I try to play Civ3 now, I get a BSOD in Win2K, a

kmode_exception_not_handled

error. Anyone familiar with this or have an idea about how I might fix it?

Can't wait for that patch...
