Bug? Shifted outline boxes

I've been seeing a bug similar in appearance to the downshifted font bug. I haven't seen any mention of it here in the last month or so and am wondering if there is a solution.

The outline box for the settler showing where a city would control, and the outline of the city/colony label boxes are shifted downwards on the screen.

I have a Riva TNT2 with the latest Detonator drivers and am using the 1.16f patch. Oh... and I'm running the game at my normal res. of 1280x1024.

Anyone have a solution to this that they can point me to?

There's a mention of this problem in the known bugs and fixes thread I believe.

It's a known bug and the only solution at the moment is to play in 1024x768. Or live with it. Or use the unpatched version.
