Coastal Oil Access

All of the oil resources in my game are in coastal spaces, and there is no way to get them. Is this a game flaw, or is there a way to get them?

There's no way you should be getting Oil in coastal spaces unless you've altered your Bic file. Or someone is playing a cruel joke on you. There's no way to get them since they have to be connected by a road, and you can't build a road on a water square. I suggest you reinstall your game so that you have a proper Bic file. Or you can go into your editor and reassign that resource to some sort of land terrain.

Yup, musta caught a bad patch when I got a user-made one when the game first came out. Reloaded, and all is well. THX!
