Can anyone tell me how to convert my old Civ II GFX ( pcx.? ) file so that i can use them in Civ III?

I do know that they are bigger in size and the ones that I have get all destorted when I try to use them.
I can edit them, but when I try to paste them to a 32x32, it looks like crap. They still keep the same properties. I need to know how to change these without loosing too much of the actual picture it self. Most of these are unit pics.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated (:

My advice would be to create a blank "template" of the pink and green squares. Then, take the old .pcx files and select only the graphics themselves, a beaver for example, and "paste" it over the new template.

Resizing a civ2 graphic file for civ3 is not something I think ANYONE would recommend.
