  • No one is happy?

Playing as Japanese I forcibly took a Persian city, occupied until resistors settled down and figured it would become a productive city since it was close to my FP.

However, all 11 residents were unhappy. They had all luxuries (like all my cities) but they didn't make any difference. When I made an entertainer I then had 10 unhappy citizens and an entertainer.

Does anyone know why this happened or how to fix? It flipped back after only a couple turns, consuming many troops that were perparing to move to the next city and eliminate the culture pull on it. I expected it to flip just not that fast. Is it simply because it was right on the border? (BTW - the Persians were impressed with my culture, which is why I figured a had at least a couple turns before the city flipped back.)

Did you right click on one of them? That will tell you the reason for the unhappyness.

So I'm obviously a newbie, I confess. I didn't know that but then I was playing my third game before I realized you could zoom out (don't ask.)

      Thanks.
