How do you change backgrounds using PSP 7?

Well? My wish is to change the invisible background in the military advisor pcx's to an office-looking backdrop so I can use him as a leader. Once I can do this, I shall be able to create the ultimate mod.... (that is, unless, someone else is willing to make me a flc or pcx of someone who looks like the military advisor????)

Does anyone know how to do this???
