  • Don't try this at home...

At last! I finally have a version of Civ3CopyTool that works on my system. After weeks of anticipation, I can finally build my specialist Worker, one who only irrigates. It doesn't build mines in the middle of my prime farmland, it doesn't cut down trees I just finished planting. All he does is irrigate. Oh, oh, he's almost done, just a little bit more! THERE HE IS!! But wait..., he won't automate. Maybe I did something wrong, I'd better check.

What this? I have to ALL the Worker flags set before the AI will recognize the command? OH NO!!!

So if anyone else was considering this approach, don't bother. It doesn't work! _sigh_

Well I still like the game myself, but there sure are some annoying things about it, that's for sure. I've asked Firaxis for an irrigation only automated command, so maybe with the next patch it won't be such a hassle trying to deal with my workers. I just don't like automating them at the moment, aside from a couple of things like clearing jungle.
