War weariness

Okay, say you are using Democracy for your government and you start to run into happiness trouble due to war weariness. If you switch to another goverment type for one turn then switch back to Democracy does the war weariness start over?

I'm thinking it won't matter if I start the war since I had riots or whatever after 2 turns. However it seems you can go for a pretty long time if someone else starts the war.

War weariness can be a fickle thing. Sometimes offensive warfare will mess you up immediately, but sometimes not. Same with defensive warfare.

At any rate, I have captured Egyptian cities where the citizens are still complaining about having been drafted (I do not draft). So it appears that a citizen's mood is event driven and stays with the citizen until it dissipates (with time).
