  • Editing makes science screwy. HELP!

I went to the editor, and the only change I made is to have police stations reduce coruption (I have a problem with the patch, so I don't use it yet). Now when I play a game, I go to select senario, choose the mod i made, and now the science advisory screen has no lines going from tech to tech. I can't change the tech I am researching. If I click "What's the big picture?" when I get a new tech, I can't choose anything, I have to keep the one it chose for me. It'll work right if I don't use my mod, but how do I make this not happen when I make a mod?

      I had the same problem...

This is an old known problem with v1.07f, which tje patch fixes.
What you need to do is get the orininal .bic-file from your game directory and make a backup of it (I think it's called civ3edit.bic).
you might have to reinstall the game in order to get it, if you can't get it anywhere else.
AFTER you edited the scenario, but BEFORE you start a new game you need to owerwrite the .bic-file in your gamedirectory with the original. that fixes the problem.
