Has anyone else had this problem?:
I get two different types of errors when tyring to run civ3. both are illegal operation/invalid page fault errors - one caused by civ3.exe and the other caused by kernel32.dll. They happen either while trying to start a new game, loading a saved game, or in the middle of a game. so far i have only been able to play 10-12 turns before one of these errors shuts down the program. I have reinstalled several times to no effect, and even went so far as to buy a second copy of civ3 - same errors occur, so it must be something in my computer.
My specs:
windows98se
intel pentium3 667 mhz
128 ram
32 meg video card (nvidia riva tnt2 model 64)
52X cd rom
19 gig western digital HD
+ v1.16civ3 patch
Any ideas on what could be causing this?
Thanks
Max
