  • MAP: Silmarillion map 100x100

    Hi!

This is a medium size interpretation of Tolkien's Silmarillion map. I tried to include everything from the original and filled the empty spaces with desert, hills, forrest, lakes etc.

Have fun and send some comments!

OK, here is a picture of my map. Sadly, you can't see the work I put into the river system, but you will get the idea.

I haven't taken a close look at the map, but it looks pretty good from the shot you posted.

Did you modify anything? Like making up the various civs:

          Enemy
          Noldor (possibly split in two)
          Sindar
Dark Elves (doh, I forget their name)
          Dwarves
          Edain
          Men (non-edain... Dark Men?)

          Enemy could be militaristic/industrious/scientific/commercial
Noldor could be industrious/scientific or scientific/militaristic
          Sindar could be religious/commerical
Dark Elves could be expansionist/commercial (or maybe just 1 trait to weaken them)
          Dwarves could be commercial/industrious
Edain could be religious/scientific, but start in the Blue Mts... forcing them to move for a number of turns before founding their capitol.
          Men could be militaristic/religious

          Heh, just some thoughts...

grog want tank...Grog Want Tank... GROG WANT TANK!

The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.
