  • how does the PATCH affect MOD/FILES users?

    hi all,

maybe those of you who have already applied the patch can help us ones who haven't:

if you use mods or other files, how should you go about applying the patch in order to keep your custom settings?

-- simply apply the patch ?
-- apply the patch then reinstall the mods / files ?
-- uninstall the mods / files by copying the backups of the originals, then apply the patch, then reinstall the mods / files ?

myself, i am concerned with the graphics changes such as snoopy's land and heed's resources, but i'm sure there will be other cautious people who will want to know what's going to happen before blindly jumping into the patch

The patch updates some textfiles (diplomacy, civilopedia maybe some more, some sounds, and some animations, but I don't think any terrain is changed.)

Oh Gramphos, mighty king of Sweden...

Does it, and if so how does it affect the copytool/savegame editor?
Also, I used it like you said to add a new civ but everything works fine only it crashes 100% of the time on the foreign advisor screen. Can you help?

It is a unused referens in the textfile. I don't know if it is fixed in the patch, but I'll investigate it today.
