  • Attacking with Musketmen

Sometimes when I attack with Musketmen, they stand back and shoot and kill Knights and Bowmen. However, the majority of the time, they walk right up and start shooting and end up stabbed to death before they kill the enemy. I am using the GOTO command to attack. is there a better way to attack with Musketmen so they don't always stand there and get stabbed?

Well, Musketmen are really supposed to be used as defensive units. And this isn't really the forum for the question.
Dom Pedro II - 2nd and last Emperor of the Empire of Brazil (1831 - 1889).

I truly believe that America is the world's second chance. I only hope we get a third...

this is the only forum I have been able to post them in. so are you only supposed to attack with Knights? I haven't been making Swordsman at all, I guess I should start. I just found them useless last game.

The graphics really have nothing to do with whether they succeed or not.

Just note that the Musketman's attack rating is 2 and the Knight's defence rating is 3, so you're putting yourself at a disadvantage by attacking with Muskets.

Now I am going to have to go home and make tons of swordsman tonight. I am wiping out the Babylonians and Aztecs by 8am. I've let them hang around the past few nights, and now I'm going on 250 straight years of war.

            To attack use:
            Tanks
            Cavalry
            Knights
            Swordsmen
            Horsemen
            Warriors

in that order. Higher is better.
And post in the Strategy section
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).
