Great! I saw this file, and came here to see if it fixed the slow scroll problem. It was kind of weird having my home PC running slower then my laptop. I'll have to try it when I get home. Thanks for the info!

      You beat me to it!

Works for me as well - these are the best Det 4 drivers I've tried so far. All the others had one problem or another - these seem to work well with everything I've thrown at it so far...

Do these have the hardware options tab for overclocking and do they work? That's why I'm still on 12.90...

          Coolbits

If you find your hardware tab is missing, just apply the coolbits reg patch.

It does work with this version of driver.

I'll attach it to this post if you need to download it...

There have been problems with Coolbits on some versions of the program, as well as problems with the adjusted hardware options being applied on restart in Win2000. 12.90 worked like a champ, but is getting long in the tooth, and I'd jsut as soon update. However, I don't feel like testing every version they make to see if they break the hardware options tab...

P.S. Thanks, I have coolbits.reg but it was good of you to post it...

Are the 23.11 drivers the newest ones released by nVidia? Or are they just the latest ones that still work with the game? Hope fully they are actually new drivers that fix the problem and also work with all of the other 3d gfames. Thanks for the info guys!!!

Does anybody know if these drivers work well with older cards? I have a Viper v770 (TNT2 chipset) and I'm currently using 12.90 drivers - I tried 21.83 version but it slowed down my system, and I guess that's because these newer drivers are optimized for GeForce cards. Please, correct me if I'm wrong (which I hopefully will be )

I have a Nvidia Riva TNT2 Card and the new drivers caused nothing but problems... The Intro Video sticks to the left border of the screen, my system is less stable und Counter-Strike has the same old problem: it crashes when i use the newest Nvidia drivers.

that's why i recommend all TNT2 users: Use the old but good Nvidia 6.50 drivers.

DAMN !! It did not help me at all.

Still slow scroll. Approx 1-2 sec. between every frame when scrolling - it's soooo innoying.

I too have a Viper 770 and the 21.xx drivers were useless, nothing ran except windoze. I'm currently using 12.41 which works fine. Just downloaded the new drivers, I'll post again once I've installed and tested them.

Useless drivers. Anything that requires directX to run just crashes and burns. I get the following message,

this didn't help me at all, still slow scroll. asus 7700 (GeForce2 GTS w/win2k, sp2). I don't think it has caused any problems, but definitely no improvement.

Hopefully the patch will address this problem.

                              Works for V770

Huzzah! My VidCard is the last component that needs an upgrade and the new Det drivers fixed the slow scroll.
