  • turn off citizens enhance of palace?

I remember that you could turn off the offer to build an enhancement for your palace when the people thought you were great, can you do it in Civ3.

    AFAIK: No.

But I wouldn't be surprised if they change this in the patch.

Ok, that what I figured as the manual had nothing on it.

just click on the X instead of the circle and the popup goes away without building the palace renovation

What bugs me is that if you do decide your so bored and want to see the palace built, it is a cheaply done graphic that simply pastes the new palace in front of the old boring cave. it sohuld remove the cave and then build your palace

Well - the funny thing is that in my current game as the Indians I haven't been asked once to expand my place - and I'm now in 1450 AD. And yes I'm the Civ that is doing best However, I don't recall switching it off anywhere, but that's how it is. I still have a cave when I look at my palace

That is because the people are not all that pleased with you. I was at war forever and did not get to expand for 3000 years. I had not gotten enough of we love the king days or what ever triggers it.

Yep, the half-cave/half-palace stage looks just plain old cheap, IMHO.

Um no - that's not it. About half my cities have "We love the Mahatma day" and has had so for the last 500 years. My people are happy - I'm almost never at war - I build plenty of wonders. So I'm very sure those are not the reasons I clearly said I was the Civ doing best and I mean best
