  • How can I dissolve my own cities?

    Hi all!

The one thing that *really* makes me want to throw stuff at my hapless screen is the late discovery of having misplaced a city. But how can I get rid of this nuisance?

I tried to build a settler while the city was at 2 and less pop. points. It didn´t work although it had worked in another game with a city that had converted to my side.

    Any hints?

To abandon your own cities. You're city must be either size 1 or size 2. There must be NO (Zero, nada, nil, zilch, 0 ) growth turn workers into scientists or tax collectors to ensure no growth. Then build a settler or worker (settler for size 2, worker for size 1). You will get a window where they mention a great dilema (sp?) saying "We have built a settler/worker but the city will never grow" you are then given the option to abandon the city or change production. Obviously you select abandon city and you now have a settler and are on your way.

      Hope this helps.

        Thanks!

This helped, I wasn´t able to reconstruct why it had worked at first game and not in the latter. Thx a lot.

BTW: Is this described somwhere in the manual? Or is it undocumented?
