  • Editing City Names

Which file contains the city names?

I'd like to add to the list the game has by default, but I couldn't find the file in question.

I tried the Civ Editor ... but does this alter the list just for one custom map? I wanted a global change.
Orange and Tangerine Juice. More mellow than an orange, more orangy than a tangerine. It's alot like me, but without all the pulp.

It is the editor, but you have to edit civ3mod.bic in the civ3 root.

Can you add as many or as few names as you want? - within reason.

Or will the game bum out?

Thanks for the tip on the basic file to edit .. 'ppreciate it.

I think the limit of citynames per civ is 2^31-1 names. (Practically you can add as many as you want)

Thanks. I was looking for an ADD button ... didn't know that you could type straight into that list of names. :duh:
