City bonuses
Are the city bonuses (extra shld/food/commerce when establishing a city) the same in Civ3 as in Civ2?
I can't seem to find a reference to that in the 'manual'.

It directly depends on the terrain and the government. With the introduction of all the resources, I'd say not. -
Allow me to amplify ...
... this point:
I'm finding that in the early game (before Monarchy) I get more 'bang-for-the-buck' by putting my city down next to a Wheat square than spang on it; irrigating and roading it later.
Anyone?
