  • A general problem with all maps here

With all maps except the both attached original to the game, I've the same problem:
When the research window opens and I click the "show the big picture" to see the research strings, their information and select an other research target, then this screen doesn't show the possible lines higlighted and gives no way to get any information by clicking on one of the targets or change the target.

Those files are not map only, but also contain rules. To play with other the original rules you have to replace civ3mod.bic with the rules you want. Make sure to make a copy of the original file. We hope that Firaxis will fix this in the upcoming patch.

If you want to play the map without rules you can use Civ3CopyTool to extract the map from the file.

In both cases I have the same civ3mod.bic and in both cases I say "standard rules"
If I call the original huge map, I have all in the "big picture" accessable, all lines are highlighted as to use and I can click on all tech tree icons and get info and can switch the research string I like.
But If I use one og the big maps 256/256 from here, with same settings, I get also the "big picture" but there I can't switch the reserch and get no additional info. All are shown as not available.

Can you give me a link to the map you try to use, or contact me at ICQ (about C3CT as well)
