I know there's a million threads reporting lock ups of some kind, here's mine:
First game : Huge Map & all the civs, it locks on the AI's turn at 1500bc. The cursor freezes on the hourglass sign and the computer completely crashes, no CTRL-ALT-DELETE available.
So reload the autosave, it crashes at the same point again. I've tried every suggestion on their website: closing programs, turning down 3d acceleration, reinstalling, i've downloaded the most recent drivers for my graphics card.
AAAAAAAAAARGH! I've played enough to have a taste but no satisfaction
