I was looking through the pediaIcons.txt file and had a thought... since it's already in the engine and all (I'm assuming this is relatively simple), it would be nice to add an option for wonder movies... not necessarily AVIs, but FLCs and WAVs would be nice.
That way one could just make a new PCX for the name of the wonder (since it's already a fade-in) and optionally add a wonder movie after it. Keeping the same resolution.
For example, I'm looking at:
#WON_SPLASH_30
art\wonder splash\pyramid.pcx
So the format is currently
(WON_ID)
(PCX Location from root)
which could be
(WON_ID)
(PCX)
(FLC)
(WAV)
and some character to skip (say, ^ or a simple blank line) since it's optional.
I miss the Wonder movies from Civ2, I wouldn't mind recompressing them or making new ones.
