  • "Unload Carrier" Bug

    Sorry if this has been mentioned earlier. I thought I might have found a better way to activate sleepy bombers than right-clicking each one individually . Tired of having to micro-manage my air units, I intentionally ran my carrier aground, bringing up the "unload units" pop-up. I selected "Unload All" and the game promptly froze. Solid.

    And now, let's all bow our heads in prayer for the "wake all" command to be included in the patch....

    You probably ran into this problem becaues you cannot unload Air Units onto the ground, they can only be 're-based' somewhere. Though I guess you could call the fact that the Unload All menu still pops up using a Carrier a bug, but understand that the Carrier isnt a transport just a sea-base for Planes.

      Same thing happened to me.

      Its definately a bug. Unless someone "meant" for the game to freeze. Yeah, I'd like to see any programmer call that NOT a bug.

          I discovered this "feature" the other night. I saw the disembarkment screen, so wondering what might happen, I selected to unload the bombers. A hard crash followed. This does seem like a bug.

              Ah, the famous undocumented feature line! You would be amazed at the things programmers will insist are WAD (working as designed).

              "It's supposed to GP Fault here. Otherwise, how would the user know not to enter a negative number over 10 million..."

                Yeah I have a car like that. There is a specific problem I see everytime I start it up, but Pontiac insists it is WAD. Bastards!
