  • Cheating Bug!!!!

This bug i encountered playing GOTM 01! I was just tired of having AI civs asking me money and stuff, so i just asked them all they have (All cities, All Technology, All money, All Resources and 999999999 Gold per turn)! What was my suprise when they said "agreed"!

I then played a little, just to see the effects of this diplomacy and saved the game in a different saved game, and take some screen shots!

I then reload the game before this "cheat" and tried again! But this time i just asked the money (999999999 Gold per turn) and they agreed again! It seems like the AI civs don't recognize 999999999 Gold and see it has a negative number or something!

Seems that you're already winning the game, so that won't change much of the game story...

I think this was already a known bug (I read about it somewhere).

The savegame is after the Bug, after i asked all their (Aztec and Babylonian) cities and they agreed! that's why it seems that i'm winning! The real savegame, i just have the starting peninsula and a city on the left island!!

        I'm not that good! YET!!!

What's odd, though, is that ever since I heard about this bug, I was curious to see it in action. Unfortunately, for some reason, the computer just gets offended at me. Not once have I been able to get 999999999 gold from them, be it during peace negotiations or otherwise.

Are you really asking for 999999999 gold per turn or are you asking for 999999999 gold lump? This only works if you are asking for 999999999 gold PER TURN!
