  • Slow-Scroll and Hardware Acceleration

    Hey

Somewhere someone (sorry I can't be more specific but memory fail me ) suggested changing Windows graphics Hardware Acceleration corrected the problem with slow scrolling on nVidia cards.

I had this problem but when I put the acceleration-slider down to the second-worst setting the scolling was suddently fine - best of all this method doesn't require reboot or installing old drivers. I realize it might not work for everyone, but it's definately worth a try.

I run on Windows 2000 Pro w. GeForce 2MX, nVidia v22.80 (beta) drivers and DirectX 8.1.

    Bet of luck.

Yeah, it worked for me also (for machine specs see my original post regarding the issue "slow scroll/crash pre-patch fix" - thread). Also, when I set the acceleration to none, no more crashing.
