  • GRAPHIC: Changed "EraSplash" GFX...

I begun to change several Civ3 gfx, first I changed the splash screens that appear when your civ enters a new age, because I did not like it that all four pics show exactly the same background... Below there is a previewpic.

Download the Zipfile with three altered screens here

EDIT: the fourth file (for the modern age) is here

    Installation

1 - BACKUP all four pics in the folder Civ3\Art\EraSplash

2 - Unzip the downloaded files into that folder...thats all

NOTE: I tested all pics except the newest (for the modern age) because I had no savegame available that was close enough to a change from the industrial to the modern age. I´ll test it and include the "modern" gfx as soon as I saw it in my current game...

I´ll also rework some other gfx in the future and post them here...opinions anyone?

I like the pictures, but I have a small request, could you make the sky and clouds reflections on the river more realistic?

The images have very nice attention to detail –good job. I was thinking about creating four entirely new screens but yours will do for now.

              Thanks for the nice comments

dragontail, I think the main problem is that the old sky is still reflected on the water, I could try to change it, but it will probably a bit tricky...

However, I´ll see if it works on the weekend...
