Victory/Replay Problems?!

I have finished the game twice, won both times (albeit on the two lowest difficulty levels) but both times the ending has seemed "wrong". Each time, upon completion, a victory screen appeared where congratulatory messages appeared in "speech bubbles"--but the image in each of those squares was a little tiny image of my leader. I had expected my opponent's images to appear there. Also, the replay function didn't appear capable of playing, regardless of which buttons I pressed.

Has anyone else experienced these problems? Am I doing something wrong?

Sounds weird.

I can't imagine anything you could do wrong to get this result.

Maybe a reinstall would help.
