How to tear down fortresses
After you build some fortresses, how do you tear it down? In Civ2 we can use selective pillaging, but doesn't seem possible here.

Ive had this problem too, but I forgot about it (your post reminded me of it)

you have to do several pillaging depending on what is on the tile. So say you have a railroad, mine and a fortress you need to:
-destroy railroad
-destroy road
-destroy mine
-destroy fortress
that's how i did it on my own territory. Never had a chance to tear one down in an enemy territory though, however you can plainly see the AI being able to pillage all improvements on your tiles with just (what appears to be) one unit.Comment
