This was odd. I've been at war with Germany for quite a while, and I'm in a monarchy. One turn I got attacked by 24 Barbs. The very next turn I got attacked by 24 more in a different city. Here's the thing. All of my large cities, like seven or eight of them, fell into disorder. I went into the city screen and those that had unhappy faces (not all of them did), had more happy then unhappy. I couldn't figure it out. I thought maybe it was war weariness. Then I just let it go, and the very next turn, everything went back to normal. Any have anything like that happen? If so, any idea what it is? Am I missing something?

Barbarians caused Disorder

that happened to me recently. The city went into disorder but when I went to go look (on the same turn) there was only one unhappy, and more than one happy.
The city however used to belong to the english (but I earned it through culture) and I was a communisn gov so I was whipping those citizens into work perhaps 15-20 turns previous.. But I had just razed a few english cities though.
Just like you, the next turn it went back to normal.
I think it's a game feature to make the whole thing harder

Yeah I thought so too, but what is the reason behind it. And all of these cities were my own. Even my capitol was involved. It happened again a few turns later when a barbarian ransacked a town of mine. Can't believe I let that happen. Well, happy gaming.Yours in gaming,
