Flood Plains? Where?

Someone mentioned "looking for that green to recognize floodplains" in another post. There is green floodplains artwork in the terrain folder. Yet when I'm in the game or the editor I cannot tell any difference between desert & floodplains unless I click on them. See attachment, can you tell which are desert & which are flood plains? I haven't had any problems with the game & even played it for over 18hours once without any crashes. But why is this "green" missing? Thanks.

The green is for where flood plains and rivers intersect. Other than that it looks identical to desert, as you mentioned.
