Time Question

Is there a way to alter the number of years that pass between turns? I'm a pretty deliberate player but I get "retired" before I even discover electricity.

I'd like to decrease the number of years that pass between each turn so I can play longer.

I did not notice nay way to change this in the interface. Is there an .ini tweak?

I haven't looked but try the editor - you can alter a lot of things in that...
