  • Support cost hard-coded?

    It has been said that the support cost for each unit is 1 gold. Can this be changed in any way, or differentiated?

    Making battleships really expensive to support would help both realism and gameplay balance.

    (Have not played yet.)
    The difference between industrial society and information society:
    In an industrial society you take a shower when you have come home from work.
    In an information society you take a shower before leaving for work.

    You can control the unit cost on a per unit basis (I.e. making all the units cost 0, 1, or 2+ gold per turn), but as far as I can tell, the editor does not allow for assigning costs to specific units independently of other units.

        Under the governments tab, you can set the upkeep cost per unit.
