Has anyone at Firaxis actually acknowledged they are or will be working on a patch?

The first thing I'd like to know is that they'll make the patch. I don't care how long they take to release it, as long as it fixes a good portion of the more annoying/severe bugs people are posting.

yes, they have stated they're already working on a patch; it's supposed to be released by the end of november, although of course that's a tentative release date.
