It seems theres limited support for modding Civ3- theres a few text files which only edit dialogues, the editor with some nice features but many things are restricted to toggling flags, and a the sounds/art. Am I missing anything? I was really hoping there would a scripting language or a code-based modding feature ala CtP:2- is somethign liek this available or not? Thx

The editor is lacking. But we have promises from Firaxis that the editor will be expanded with helpful comments and suggestions from the Civ3 mod community being taken into account. -
Well as a modder I suggest a scripting language based modding capability. I really love coding stuff for games since yo uhave so much power- depending on of course how much they let you change and how many functions/variables they let you play with...Comment
