How to turn off opening movies

Is there any way to disable the opening movies from playing. Anyone found anything in the ini file, or a startup shortcut key?

(and dont say to just click or hit a key on the keyboard to skip by it)

Yes, somebody posted it here a while ago.

Rename the file "intro.bik" found at:
C:\Program Files\Infogrames Interactive\Civilization III\Art\Movies
to something like "intro.old".

The program will skip the movie when it can't find it.

try KeepRes=1 in the .ini file and it will play the game in the resolution of your desktop.
