Playing on the largest map (now in the industrial age) a little while after starting a war I found my cities started to produce old units. Example, a Knight or a Bowman is created in a city that could just as easily create infantry or cavalry.
Environmental factors:
I recently invaded a civilization that had some old units sitting around and did not have this problem until I fought them.
I am at war, but have not used the mobilize option.
I am near to (but not yet at) the number specified in "Allowed Units". None of the cities producing these units would have pushed me over that limit.
The cities producing these units are both my own native cities, and those that I've recently invaded.
Fortunately the problem has been manageable due to the ability to zoom to a city from the Military Advisor screen. Has anyone else seen this?
