In my last game, I noticed that I was able to trade world maps during diplomacy even before I had discovered map making. In the Civolpedia, it says that map making allows for this to happen. My question, then - did this perhaps happen because the civ I was trading with had the technology, even though I didn't, or is this not working the way it should?
