Can you choose your civs starting color?

I hate green for the greeks and hot pink for thr french. Can I change my civs color in user options somehow? Red is my favorite

AFAIK you can change that somehow, but I haven't really studied that part yet

There does already exists a red nation in the game, or do you want all nations to be red

In the editor, each civ has a "default color" and "unique color" that you can change. If I understand this right, the default color is a simple color (like dark green) that is assigned to multiple civs. If the civs that have the same color aren't playing each other, they will use the default color. If, however, they are playing each other, they will go to the unique color.
