  • Right of passage bug?

The manual says it lasts 20 turns, then comes up for renewal. Its been wayyyyy over 20 turns, and I sure don't remember seeing any notice about renewing it.

Anyone else have a similiar problem?

Is there any way to cancel this without just declaring war?

You may cancel it peacefully after 20 turns. The Civ you have it with may be happy with it and not want it cancelled, so they won't mention it. But after 20 turns you should be able to cancel it fine.

However, I noticed this: I am Germany on a continent with England and France. I'm at war with France, peace with England. There is no way France can get troops to me overland without passing through a huge swath of English territory. France according to my diplomacy screen (I have embassies with them and England, as well as espionage), does NOT have a right of passage act with England. However, French units keep coming up to my southern border through English territory.

This seems to be a bug...France shouldn't be able to just ignore the borders and march up through England. If I can't enter England without a ROP, neither should they. I'm on Chieftan level, btw, so I don't think its an issue of AI cheating.

    Cheers.
