  • Making buttons single-clickable

I ran a search for this topic and didn't find anything.

Does anyone know if there is a way to make all the game buttons work with a single-click, as opposed to the default two click method?

Yeah, that throws me off too.
    Kinda weird.

I don't think there's any way to do it. To me, this is a major annoyance. There is absolutely no reason to require double clicks all the time.

OK, I do agree with this. A small thing to fix in a patch.

SMAC had the 'single click' option.

Hey I have a 3 button mouse and have the middle button configured for "double click," so all I have to do is hit it once and it spits out two clicks to the comuter. This is a "mouse preferences" thing. Of course, I have no idea if it works in Civ3 'cause Civ3 won't work on my comuter as of yet...

Yes, this annoys me as well. Firaxis, please include a fix for this in a patch.

cassembler, how do you get the 3rd button to double click? I only have the Windows98 default setup for mouse preferences, so I am not sure where to change this at.
