help with resources

I have been playing Civ3 on and off but have always found the strategic resource limitation a game-stopper. I have recently installed Conquests which makes it even worse. I see in the forum how to change the numbers in the editor but I have no idea how to translate that into a normal game. In other words, I want to play a normal game with more resources available rather than edit my own map. Is there a way to do this?

I have not done this, but I know you can make changes to things like that and save the BIQ. The default one is conquest.biq and you want to rename it o you can go back.

Once you have a new biq all maps the game makes wil use those new parameters. I suspect you could look in the creation forum and find some details on how to do it.

That is probably the place, but I thought they had a sort of walk through over there. If not, try Civfanatic's creation forum.
