Flavor?

Hey all this is my first post.

while messing around with the Civ III editor in civ III complete, I came across all this stuff about flavor. What is Flavor, and how does it work? thanks for any help you guys can offer.

There is a long discussion on it in one of the AU threads. Basically it is a means of bais for thnigns. You can use it to get the AI to prefer this over that.

I think the AU mod even used it for research priorities.
