  • Why can't I give captured workers to my allies?

    Hello there,

I've been searching for an answer to this question but I can't seem to find one.

I've got a huge pile of useless Aztec workers that I captured and I need to gain the favour of my Inca buddies really fast so I was hoping to give them some workers. But I can't give them workers, not even my own.

    Why is that?

They can give me workers but I can't give them workers... how does that work?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

SOLVED: You have to take captured workers to your capital, once there they can be gifted to your friends.

Yup that is why you can hurt the AI at the start of the game by buying their workers. Every time they cross back and forth and end the turn in th ecaptiol they are available to buy or trade for.

I would not give them any slaves though they are too valuable. If you must give them workers, make it native one. They cost maint, if you are above your free support.
