Civ3Complete Not find CD

I have a p500 win98se 80hd 256ram
I have loaded and unloaded C3comp and disabled all the background programs. Every time I try to start up I am told to put the cd in, it already is in then the program closess. I have checked the reg and it is fine. Does any one else have this problem?

Strange. What CD drive do you have?

Copy protection programs do occassionally not work.

You might try contacting Atari support. Even if they can't solve the problem with the protection program, they do have "No-CD" patches that don't use copy protection.

Did you apply a patch to it? I know it is common for patches to use a new security app. I have had those issues in the past after a patch, especially if you do have a virtual CD app running.
