Creating a Leaderhead

I am going to make a leaderhead and I really would appreciate someone telling me what programs I need and what exactly I have to do.

I have RAD Video Tools (Bink and Smaker) but it wont open leaderhead flics.... or is there something else I need to do to get it to?

Please help...
