THE "Missing Binkw32 file"

i`m sick of doing search and coming to dead end threds, with the same Cr@p.
Ive owned civ3 since it was released and i`ve NEVER had 1 single problem!! until now??
this game worked perfect around 9months ago since then i`ve formatted my pc and done some updates.

My pc has MORE than enough spec to play this game. *WINDOWS XP PRO
*RADEON 9600 < i think or sumthing like that.

Can you provide a screen shot (because I don't know off the top of my head)?

Is there a file called binkw32.dll in your Civ3 directory?

The install should put one in CivIII/PTW and C3C directory. If it is missing, I would wonder about the install process.

You can get one from the internet, probably at download.com
