  • Can't kick opponents out

I'm currently playing an epic game on the chieftain level and have Portugese, Mayan and Byzantine troops and settlers crossing through my territory. Yet, when I right click to talk to their leaders, I don't get an option to ask them to leave. Looking on my foreign advisor screen, it seems I have right of passage agreements with some of them, but I don't remember signing them, and this is not a Ronald Reagan syndrome. Is this a bug or is there some setting I forgot to turn on or off?

You cannot ask civs to leave if you have an RoP with them. Watch out for a rape. Shadow them.

      Think I fixed it

I think I fixed it. I went into preferences, checked the "always re-negotiate deals" box and a few turns later, the Port's asked for a RoP, which I denied. At that point, all opponent civs went back home and any that were too deep into my territory, I could ask to leave and all is well... for now. But Mayans, Byz's and Port's... like an elephant, I NEVER forget... or forgive
