  • Some way to include events in scenarios like in Civ2?

    Hello!

That's a question which has been bothering me for quite some time, thought it's time to ask it (since I found no references to it):

Is there some way to "externally" code events in Civ3?

I thought, perhaps there exists some project like the CSPL for Civ2:ToT, where one could program a C-program which accessed the Civ-Memory. I know I did not overlook some feature in the editor ...

Anyway, events is what I actually miss most in this otherwise great game.
Hope someone can help me with that question!

    Cheers!

No events can be scripted into Civ III any version.

The only random events you can set (with conquests) are Volcano erruptions and plague.

Just to make sure I did not misphrase my question:
I know that no events can be installed with any "official" feature (i.e. editor).

Is there also no fan project like CSPL?
Or exist some plans for something like that?

Unfortunately my own programming skills are far below what would be necessary to mess around with memory, else I would start one, if none exists ...

      Anyway, thanks for the reply!
      Cheers!
