  • how do i use the AU mod ?

hello, i cant find a help on this site which says where to copy or how to use the au1.16.bix file
    perhaps u can
    thank you

OK, first, download it into your Conquests/Scenarios folders. Then unzip it into the same folder (it will create its own 'AU mod' folder). To play it, on the main screen select 'Civ-Content' from the list of options. 'AU mod' will be on the list, double-click it. After that the game setup will be the same as usual.

au1.16.bix is the PTW version. You place it in the Scenarios folder under CIV3PTW.

However, if you have Conquests, it's better to use the .biq file found in the C3C version thread

You can get the vanilla Civ3 AU mod from the first post of the original AU mod thread.

The scenario file should be called AU 1.06.bic.

Get Conquests, it contains PtW, and make an english installation.
